THE COMPANY

Clone Industry and Commerce (Corporate Name) was founded in 1985 by a group of engineers with headquarters in Sao Paulo – Brazil.

It was the first company in Brazil to manufacture Muscle Stimulators used in Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation and Pain Relief (TENS), mainly in the medical and physiotherapy areas.

In 1990 it started operating with specialized surgical instruments for the neurosurgery and cardiovascular areas.

In 2000 its headquarters is transferred to Sao Caetano do Sul and it incorporates the manufacturing of specialized pliers for orthodontics and dentistry.

In 2013 it launched the “Coração Verde” – Green Hearth – Project, a first-of-its-kind worldwide, which combines Technology and Sustainability.

MELCTEC’s mission is Sustainability by manufacturing its products, the MELCTEC Reusable Electrodes, so as not to harm the environment, reducing costs and final solid wastes.

It is also committed to delivering to Users a high Cost/Benefit Ratio and exchanging Experiences and Knowledge.
