The MELCTEC Reusable Electrodes, in clinical support, diagnosis and treatments, can be applied to:
- Electrocardiogram Records (ECG): Monitoring and Rest, Holter and Ergometric Tests.
- Electroencephalography Records (EEG): as coadjutant in Clinical Exams and Diagnosis.
- Electroneuromyography Records (EMG): as Surface Electrodes.
- Evoked Potential Records (EP).
- Clinical Treatment of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation and Pain Relief (TENS).

These various possibilities of applications are obtained with simple changes to the configurations of the Products made by the Manufacturer or User.
ICU – APPLICATION:
In ICU the MELCTEC Reusable Electrodes can be used for long periods by keeping the Sensors and daily changing the Adhesive Discs only without disrupting Hospital Hygiene Protocol and expressively reducing Costs and Quantities.
IN MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING AND TOMOGRAPHY:
The MELCTEC Reusable Electrodes are compatible with use in Magnetic Resonance and Tomography Equipment because the Sensors are metal free.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTION:
The continuous use of MELCTEC Reusable Electrodes – dozens of times, if handled carefully – requires them to be Cleaned and Desinfectec.
These are simple Procedures.
Cleaning consists of the delicate removal of the Conductive Paste – not hardened – with a tissue. If the Conductive Paste is hardened, the Sensors can be immersed in a bowl of water or soapy water four two hours.
The Conductive Paste – essential for the operation of the Sensors – is only applied to the surface in contact with the Patient’s Skin.
On the other hand, Desinfection is carried out by immersing the Sensors in 70% Ethyl Alcohol or Chlorhexidine. The Sensors can also receive “spray jets” of these or other antibacterial products.

PACKAGING
Of the barrier type against light and moisture, metalized of BOPP – Bioriented Polypropylene – recyclable, with labeling and instructions for use of the products for the good performance of the entire set.

COLLECT AND DELIVERY BOX:
Made of rigid cardboard, they were developed for handling and transport, and mainly, the collection of unserviceable products.
The Dimensions are: Height 21.5 cm; Width 28.0 cm; Depth 24.8 cm. They are capable of collecting up to 7000 Electrodes inside it with as little contact as possible with Users.
ACESSORIES
ADHESIVE DISCS:
Made of TNT – non-woven fabric – medical grade with diameters of 35 and 55 millimeters. In white and skin colors, they can be adjusted for all situations, and used in children, young people, adults and elderly people.
The Patients’ excessive sweating – Sweating – can impair the adhesiveness of the Adhesive Discs.
They do not harm the environment because they are recyclable or disintegrating products.
